  • About 1 kg or 2/3 pounds of organic lamb marrow bones.
  • 60 ml or a ¼ cup of extra virgin coconut oil.
  • 2 liters or about 8 cups pure filtered water.
  •  3 pieces of garlic cloves.
  • 2 organic carrots peeled and cut into large pieces.
  • 2 stalks of organic celery cut into large pieces.
  • 1 large onion peeled and cut in the quarter.
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoons (60 ml). If it not available in your kitchen then you can use 2 t.spoon of lemon juice.
  • 1-2 t. spoon best quality Sea salt (or according to taste).

Cooking process
  1. Preheat your oven to 200˚C or 400˚F
  2. Clean the lamb bones and other vegetables perfectly.
  3. Take a fireproof casserole dish and place on the stove. Melt the coconut oil with the over medium heat. Put the bones into the oil and stir to coat.
  4. Cover the casserole dish with a lid and transfer to the oven. Bake the bones for 30 minutes or wait until the bones are browned.
  5. Again transfer the dish to the stove and fill it with filtered water. Add all others vegetables including herbs and spices. Let it gently boil.
  6. Reduce the heat as low as your stove allow. Let the broth simmer for 12 to 24 hours. If necessary you can add filtered water from time to time.
  7. After some period of time, remove the dish from the stove and let it be cool completely.
  8. Now strain the liquid. Vegetables and other ingredients remove from the broth and keep aside if you want to use it later.
  9. Now it is ready to use any other dishes or plain drink. Store the excess amount of broth for future use.
  10. Keep the broth into the refrigerator until the excess fat congeals on the top. Now skim the top fat and store the broth in an airtight container into the freezer or fridge. You can freeze it into the ice-cube trays for quick use.
